CLIENT

Immo Dalmatia is a boutique real estate and travel agency centered in the heart of the Mediterranean, the island of Murter. With more than 200 properties and 30 agents they are one of the fastest growing agencies in Croatia, well known for their property knowledge, expertise and commitment.

BRIEF

The client approached us with a clear challenge: to build beautiful, fully mobile responsive and easy-to-navigate web portal for real-estate professionals. Company is focusing on several European markets thus the portal also had to provide a multi language support to maximize its reachability. On top of that, a robust yet easy-to-use CMS had to be implemented so the agency’s growing team of agents could inputnew real estate properties promptly and with minimum effort.

SOLUTION

With more than 200 listed properties and a growing team of agents, project required a user-centered approach. On one hand, we needed to satisfy the visitor’s need to easily find real estate properties and connect with the corresponding agents. On the other, we had to offer a pleasurable user experience to the agents who are constantly on the move. They had to be able to submit, edit and manage their properties with ease and speed.

USER FLOW

During the research process we’ve determined a typical user flow:

  • Setting the available parameters to search for the properties
  • Exploring the results to find the best ones
  • Connecting with the agent to seal the deal

UX DESIGN

An intuitive search form highlights the homepage. Clean layout with drop down menus, sliders (built to select property values and sizes) and big buttons made the user interface vivid and easily accessible both on desktop and mobile screens.
 
To separate properties for sale from those available only for rent we built a separate Properties feed, available in grid and list layouts with an intuitive search form similar to the one appearing on the homepage.
 
The most important information is displayed next to each property (Listing title, code, price, living area, number of rooms, photo thumbnail etc.). Pressing the “MORE DETAILS” button opens up a sub-page showcasing a specific property displaying a great deal of information in a visually clean fashion.

CMS PLATFORM FOR AGENTS

The second part of the equation was to solve the need of a completely different user group – the real estate agents. We set up the CMS so the agents could input various information, attributes and additional rich media content such as descriptions, tags, featured image, property photo galleries, videos or geolocations.

The property submission is done via intuitive text input fields, drop down menus and upload forms. Once they press SUBMIT PROPERTY button, Content Management System generates a new visually stunning sub-page showcasing agents and their inventory of lovely homes and apartments.

Another neat feature we designed is the Sold/Rent property label agents can add to the listings with a single click.

SUPPORT, EDUCATION & CONSULTING

After the launch we provided additional support and maintenance as well as comprehensive training program through the series of workshops regarding CMS and digital transformation. Although CMS is intuitive and easy-to-use we wanted agents and other employees to utilize its potentials to the max.

Our long term mission is not just to build beautiful websites or mobile apps but to be the organization’s partner in the ever-changing digital & mobile world. Second part of the workshops addressed the inevitability of the digital transformation and the best practices on social media and mobile marketing.

RESULTS

Even though the web portal is complex and content heavy, consisting of more than 800 sub pages , we achieved our goal to make every piece of information available in no more than 3 steps.

The overall user experience was elevated to a new level with lots of little details and strategically placed interactive content, which in the end simplified the traditionally complex and tedious process of finding the right property.

We are proud to have been given the chance to deliver such a robust yet flexible real estate multi-language responsive portal accessible on the web, mobile and tablets that will help the agency to continue their amazing business growth achieved in the last three years.
